About Me

Danso Bekoe πŸ” Evidence-Based Research 🌍 Cultural Sensitivity 🀝 Community Connection

I am Danso Bekoe, a motivated and organized Family History Researcher and Local Genealogist Guide based in Accra, Greater Accra Region, Ghana. I specialize in West African and Ghanaian records, oral histories, and migration patterns β€” helping families reconnect across generations through evidence-based, culturally sensitive research.

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Professional Studies at Brigham Young University – Idaho, with concentrations in Family History Research, Advanced Family History Research, and Technical Support Engineering. I also work as a Local Genealogist Guide and Research Assistant at AncestryProGenealogists.

My deepest passion is preserving African heritage β€” from producing oral history booklets in Ghana's Central Region through Residual Legacy, to leading FamilySearch Community Tree Building efforts, to conducting field genealogy interviews and photographing burial sites for future generations.
